Our partnership with Beauparc has gone from strength to strength. From replacing 19 previous suppliers across 28 sites to becoming their sole labour provider, we’ve focused on improving visibility, compliance, and performance to help drive safer, smarter workforce outcomes in one of the UK’s fastest-growing waste management businesses.
Beauparc’s rapid expansion in the UK brought together six acquired businesses down to two entities. With this, they needed to streamline their Preferred Suppliers List (PSL), which is where their relationship with Smart began, as we were chosen over 19 other agency suppliers. They needed a supplier who could not only scale across 28 national sites but also raise standards in compliance, workforce performance, and safety. Three critical pillars in the waste and recycling sector. Our challenge was clear: take the lead on transformation while embedding a consistent, value-driven labour strategy.
We led the mobilisation with speed and precision, becoming Beauparc’s sole labour partner. From day one, our team prioritised worker safety and compliance visibility, introducing national reporting systems, clear audit trails, and consistent compliance performance measurement across all sites. We aligned labour planning with operational demands, ensuring consistency and accountability. Importantly, we worked hand in hand with Beauparc’s internal teams to build a safety-first culture and ensure that worker performance was a continuous focus, supported by proactive site engagement and a national service structure.We leveraged our extensive experience in managing high-volume recruitment, with our managed service provision. Through our ability to adapt to dynamic environments, we were able to structure our account management team with a blend of seasoned senior managers and newly recruited account managers who possessed the necessary skillsets.Our ongoing recruitment efforts and tailored approach generated a vast candidate pool capable of meeting our client’s fluctuating daily headcount needs. Our onsite presence enabled us to offer a candidate care program, enhancing attraction and retention, and ultimately leading to an efficient and successful workforce solution for the company.
Our partnership with Beauparc has delivered significant operational benefits. Centralised reporting now provides full visibility across all locations, giving the client confidence in compliance and performance. Safety culture improvements have been embedded at site level, with proactive reporting and risk awareness becoming second nature. As a result of our performance and agility, we’ve secured sole supply status, reduced management burden for the client, and improved workforce productivity across the estate.
