Our Strategic Reunification of Divisions and New Brand Direction Under Newly Appointed CEO

After a period of growth and sector success, we’re bringing our two specialist brands back together under one unified “Smart” brand.

With a new identity on the horizon, this marks the start of an exciting new chapter – one built on collaboration, people, and a bold vision for the future.

2024 was a landmark year for Smart, a year of achievements, reflection, and strategic growth.

As we look to 2025 and beyond, we’re excited to share the next chapter in our journey. The reunification of our divisions under one Smart brand, and the introduction of a new CEO to lead the charge.

For the last several years, Smart Environmental Support Services and Smart Solutions have operated as separate brands within the same company and group, each focused on developing expertise within their respective sectors. This divisionalised approach allowed both brands to thrive independently, becoming leaders in their own fields and supporting a growing client base in the UK.

But now, we believe it’s time to bring our teams, services, and identity back together.

As part of our growth strategy, we are proud to announce that Smart Environmental Support Services and Smart Solutions will once again operate under one unified brand – Smart Solutions.

This change reflects not only who we are, but who we aspire to be, a connected, collaborative, and cohesive business.

While we move forward under one name, our clients and candidates can expect the same dedication, expertise, and personal service that they’ve come to trust – now delivered through the strength of a unified business.

Our people will benefit too.

Working together under the “One Smart” brand enables stronger collaboration, better communication, and shared success across our teams nationwide.

This exciting transformation will soon be accompanied by a full rebrand, to make way for a new visual identity that better reflects our renewed vision, values, and mission as a business.

As part of this evolution, we are also pleased to formally introduce our newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Matt Spaul. Matt’s vision, passion, and commitment to Smart have already shaped much of our progress to date. As CEO, he will play a vital role in guiding Smart into its future.
